Recycled plastics are difficult to work with. Mixed melt flows and long thermal histories make for unpredictable properties. Contamination from mixed plastics causes the recycled material to lose all processability and strength. To combat this, Innomerix has develop its Cycloaid range.
Our Cycloaid masterbatches and compounds are designed to increase compatibility between materials. By targeting common material combinations found in food packaging, we have created additives to improve compatibility and processability of recycled materials.

Our solution for multilayer soft packaging allows for the conversion of multilayer barrier films into material back into the PE recycle stream. By compatibilizing PA and PET, we can reduce the appearance of delamination and improve the strength of the recycled material. The result can be used as recycled PE. This can be used to convert post-industrial and post-consumer waste into usable product.
